lydia randall

Lydia was awarded the MAPS Scholarship in the Fall 2022 Scholarship Round. At the time of her application, she was a student at Carnegie Mellon Unviersity, completing her Bachelor of Architecture degree. Lydia’s application stood out as she was the president of CMU NOMAS, the local student chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects.

After being notified of the scholarship, Lydia voiced that “being a minority in architecture school can often feel lonely. This award affirms that there is a community in Pittsburgh’s architecture profession that wants to support me and other students as we make our way through school and beyond.”
